The Prophet of God (a.s) said: “Do you want me to tell you about the people who are neither of the Prophets nor of the martyrs, but are of such a high position in the Hereafter that the Prophets and the martyrs are envious of them? They will be sitting on pulpits of light.” The people asked: “O' Prophet of God! Who are those people?” The Prophet (a.s) said: “They are the people who make the people loved by God, and make God loved by the people.” They asked: “It is clear how to induce God's love in the people's hearts, but how do they make the people loved by God?” The Prophet (a.s) said: “They ask the people to do what God loves, and forbid them from doing what God does not like. If people follow these instructions and obey, then God will love them.”
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): ألا أحدثكم عن أقوام ليسوا بأنبياء ولا شهداء، يغبطهم يوم القيامة الأنبياء والشهداء بمنازلهم من الله، على منابر من نور؟ قيل: من هم يا رسول الله؟ قال: هم الذين يحببون عباد الله إلى الله ويحببون الله إلى عباده، قلنا: هذا حببوا الله إلى عباده، فكيف يحببون عباد الله إلى الله قال: يأمرونهم بما يحب الله وينهونهم عما يكره الله، فإذا أطاعوهم أحبهم الله.
