Imam Ali (AS) said, The best of your brothers is the one who shows you the path of guidance, makes you acquire piety and prevents you from following your lowly desires.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : خَيرُ إخوانِكَ مَنْ دَلَّكَ على هُدىً وَ ألبَسَكَ(أكْسَبَكَ) تُقىً وَصَدَّكَ عَنْ إتّباعِ هَوىً

hadith 385
Imam Ali (AS) said, Keep yourself in the company of a virtuous and pious brother and you will remain safe, seek advice from him and you will benefit.
