Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘The fountainhead of merits is the overpowering of anger, and the eradication of desire.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): رَأسُ الفَضائلِ مِلكُ الغَضَبِ، وإماتَةُ الشَّهوَةِ .
