Imam Ali (AS) said, One of the prerequisites of piety is refraining from sins.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مِنْ لَوازِمِ الوَرَعِ اَلتَّنَزُّهُ عَنِ الآثامِ
