Imam Ali (AS) said, The intellect guides and saves whereas ignorance misleads and destroys.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلعَقْلُ يَهْدي وَ يُنْجي وَ الجَهْلُ يُغْوي وَ يُرْدي

Imam Ali (AS) said, The straying of the intellect is the most serious deviation, and the abasement (or error) of ignorance is the greatest abasement (or error).
