2. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “
One who among our lovers tries to help a believer but does not make full effort in his cause, has surely distrusted Allah, His Messenger and the believers.” The narrator asked Imam what he meant by a believer. Imam (a.s.) replied, “A person who has faith in all Imams from Amirul Momineen (a.s.) to the last Imam (a.s.).”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی إِدْرِیسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُصَبِّحِ بْنِ هِلْقَامٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ أَیُّمَا رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا اسْتَعَانَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ إِخْوَانِهِ فِی حَاجَهٍ فَلَمْ یُبَالِغْ فِیهَا بِکُلِّ جُهْدِهِ فَقَدْ خَانَ اللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَهُ وَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ قَالَ أَبُو بَصِیرٍ قُلْتُ لِأَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَا تَعْنِی بِقَوْلِکَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ قَالَ مِنْ لَدُنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع إِلَی آخِرِهِمْ.
