5. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “All the good lies in the sword and its shade. Nothing except sword can improve people. Sword is the key of Paradise and Hell.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِیلَ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص الْخَیْرُ کُلُّهُ فِی السَّیْفِ وَ تَحْتَ ظِلِّ السَّیْفِ وَ لَا یُقِیمُ النَّاسَ إِلَّا السَّیْفُ وَ السُّیُوفُ مَقَالِیدُ الْجَنَّهِ وَ النَّارِ.
