2. The narrator told Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.), “When I entered the house of Allah, I didn’t remember any supplication except salutations on the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and his progeny.” Imam (a.s.) replied, “No one present there did a better deed than you.”
أَبِی ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَسِّنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ أَبَانٍ الْأَحْمَرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ بْنِ نُعَیْمٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنِّی دَخَلْتُ الْبَیْتَ فَلَمْ یَحْضُرْنِی شَیْ ءٌ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ إِلَّا الصَّلَاهَ عَلَی النَّبِیِّ وَ آلِهِ فَقَالَ ع وَ لَمْ یَخْرُجْ أَحَدٌ بِأَفْضَلَ مِمَّا خَرَجْتَ.
