Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Truthfulness is the congruity of logic with divine convention, whereas lying removes logic from divine convention.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): الصِّدقُ مُطابَقَةُ المَنطِقِ للوَضعِ الإلهيِّ ، الكِذبُ زَوالُ المَنطِقِ عَنِ الوَضعِ الإلهيِّ.
