Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Tears only dry up and fail to flow as a result of hard-heartedness, and the hearts only harden as a result of an abundance of sins.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): ما جَفَّتِ الدُّموعُ إلّا لِقَسوَةِ القُلوبِ ، وما قَسَتِ القُلوبُ إلّا لكَثرَةِ الذُّنوبِ.
