Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘Whoever recites the Qur an in order to deceive people thereby will be raised on the Day of Resurrection with a bony face without any flesh therein.
Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl #1103that one who recites the Holy Quran for making money, will have no flesh on his face when he comes on the Day of Judgment.
