The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Sincere repentance is remorse for the sin as soon as it slips out from you; then you ask Allah for forgiveness, then you never return to it.
رسولُ اللهِ (صَلَّيَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِهِ) ـ وقد سُئلَ عنِ التَّوبةِ النَّصوحِ ـ: هُو النَّدمُ على الذّنبِ حينَ يَفْرُطُ مِنكَ، فتَسْتَغفِرُ اللّهَ بِنَدامَتِكَ عِند الحافِرِ، ثُمَّ لا تَعودُ إلَيهِ أبَداً.
