The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'O Ibn Masaud, be wary of the intoxication brought about by sin, for verily the sin intoxicates just as much as alcohol if not more. Allah, most High, says, "Deaf, dumb and blind, they do not apply reason"
رسولُ اللهِ (صَلَّيَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِهِ) ـ لعبد اللّه بن مسعود ـ: يا بنَ مسعودٍ، اِحذَر سُكرَ الخَطيئةِ ؛ فإنَّ لِلخَطيئةِ سُكراً كَسُكرِ الشَّرابِ ، بل هِي أشَدُّ سُكراً مِنهُ ، يقولُ اللّهُ تعالى: «صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فهُم لايَرْجِعُونَ».
