Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘He who attains inner knowledge of Allah fears Allah, and he who fears Allah restrains himself from this world.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): مَن عَرَفَ اللّهَ خافَ اللّهَ ، ومَن خافَ اللّهَ سَخَت نَفسُهُ عَنِ الدّنيا .

- Al-Kāfi #153 “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Whoever has come to know Allah, he fears Allah. Whoever fears Allah, ignores his own soul in this world.’”
