In Al-Mahasin it is narrated that Ameer al-Momineen (a.s) said
“Abstinence is one of the means of improving religious ethics.”
من كتاب المحاسن: قال: قال أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام): إن من أعوان الأخلاق على الدين الزهد في الدنيا.
