۞
Imam Baqir (a.s) narrated upon the authority of God's Prophet (a.s): “God the Almighty said
I swear by my Honor, Majesty, Greatness, Grandeur, Light, and Highness of Position that none of the servants will choose his desires over Mine, without Me disrupting his affairs, and ruining his life, and getting him involved in it; and not giving anything to him but what I have destined for him. I swear by My Honor, Majesty, Greatness, Grandeur, Light, and Highness of Position that no servant chooses My wants over his own desires without My angels protecting him; and establishing the Heavens and the Earth to provide for his sustenance; and pursuing his business and protecting his interests; and turning the tables around and making the world to turn out to be in his favor against his expectations.
عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلام) قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول الله عز وجل: وعزتي وجلالي وعظمتي وكبريائي ونوري وعلوي وارتفاع مكاني! لا يؤثر عبد هواه على هواي إلا شتت عليه أمره، ولبست عليه دنياه وشغلت قلبه بها، ولم أوته منها إلا ما قدرت له، وعزتي وجلالي وعظمتي وكبريائي ونوري وعلوي وارتفاع مكاني! لا يؤثر عبد هواي على هواه إلا استحفظته ملائكتي، وكفلت السماوات والأرض رزقه، وكنت له من وراء تجارة كل تاجر، وأتته الدنيا وهي راغمة.
