Abi Basir narrated that Imam Baqir (a.s) said
“A believer will be in prosperity and will benefit from having hope of God's Mercy and Kindness unless he rushes and loses hope and stops his supplications.” They asked him how he would rush. He replied: “Whenever he says he prayed from such and such a date and did not see God answer his prayer.”

يقول، قد دعوت منذ كذا وكذا ولا أرى الإجابة.
