۞
In Elal al-Sharayeh it is narrated that Davood al-Raq'qi narrated that the
Shiites came to Imam Sadiq (a.s) to ask about wearing black suits. He said that he saw the Imam (a.s) was sitting and had put on a black robe, hat and shoes. The Imam (a.s) even opened a part of his shoe lining and said that it was also black. However he said: “Cleanse your souls, and wear whatever you wish.”
