Imam Sadiq (a.s) said the following regarding the verse: “For every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be inquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).” [The Holy Quran: Bani Isra-il 17:36] The ear will be questioned about what it has heard. The eyes will be questioned about what they have seen, and the heart will be asked about decisions made.”
عن الصادق (عليه السلام) قال
﴿إن السمع والبصر والفؤاد كل أولئك كان عنه مسؤولا﴾، قال: يسأل السمع عما سمع، والبصر عما نظر إليه، والفؤاد عما عقد عليه.
