In Al-Mahasin it is narrated that Imam Sadiq (a.s) said
“Indeed the heart strives to seek God and gets calm when it finds Him.” Then Imam Sadiq (a.s) recited: “Those whom God (in His Plan) willeth to guide, - He openeth their breast to Islam, those whom He willeth to leave straying, -He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies” [The Holy Quran: Anam 6:125]
