2. We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan bin Ahmad bin Waleed, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan al-Saffar, from Ibrahim bin Hashim, from Isma’eel bin Marrar, from Yunus bin Abdul-Rahman, from Abu Ayub, the Silk Maker, from Muhammed bin Muslim, from one of the two, meaning Abu Ja’far and Abu Abdillah, peace be upon them both, that he said
Paradise will not be entered by the one in whose heart is the weight of a mustard seed of arrogance. He said: I said: We do, indeed, happen to wear a fine robe and admiration may hit us. He said: That is only with regards to what is between him and between Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He.
