Imam Ali (AS) said, We are the helpers of death and our lives are targets of mortality, so how can we expect to live forever while the night and day do not elevate anything in status but that they quickly destroyed that which they have built and separated that which they have brought together.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : نَحْنُ أعْوانُ المَنُونِ وَ أنْفُسُنا نَصْبُ الحُتُوفِ فَمِنْ أيْنَ نَرْجُو البَقاءَ وَ هذا اللَّيْلُ وَ النَّهارُ لَمْ يَرْفَعا مِنْ شَيْء شَرَفاً إلاّ أسْرَعَا الْكَرَّةَ في هَدْمِ ما بَنَيا وَ تَفْريقِ ما جَمَعا
