Imam Ali (AS) said, Abandon [excessive] joking for indeed it is the conception of rancour.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : دَعِ المُزاحَ فَإنَّهُ لِقاحُ الضَّغينَةِ
