Imam Ali (AS) said, Be obedient to Allah, the Glorified, and delight in His remembrance, and when you are in a state of turning away from Him, picture Him approaching you. He is calling you to His forgiveness and covering you with His kindness.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كُنْ مُطيعاً لِلّهِ سُبْحانَهُ وَبِذِكْرِهِ آنِساً وَ تَمَثَّلْ في حالِ تَوَلِّيكَ عَنْهُ إقْبالَهُ عَلَيْكَ يَدْعُوكَ إلى عَفْوِهِ وَ يَتَغَمَّدُكَ بِفَضْلِهِ
