Imam Ali (AS) said, Increased gratitude and keeping ties with near relatives increases sustenance and prolongs [ones] life.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : زِيادَةُ الشُّكْرِ وَصِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ تَزيدانِ النِّعَمَ وَ تَفْسَحانِ فِي الأجَلِ
