Imam Ali (AS) said, Generosity means being open-handed with your [own] wealth while being cautious with the wealth of others.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : السَّخاءُ أنْ تَكُونَ بِمالِكَ مُتَبَرِّعاً وَ عَنْ مالِ غَيرِكَ مُتَوَرِّعاً
