Imam Ali (AS) said, Be careful not to befriend a fool, for he will harm you while trying to benefit you.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إيّاكَ وَ مُصادَقَةَ الأحْمَقِ فَإنَّهُ يُريدُ أنْ يَنْفَعَكَ فَيَضُرَّكَ
