Imam Ali (AS) said, The basis of religious law is enjoining good, forbidding evil and upholding the boundaries [of Islamic law].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : قِوامُ الشَّريعَةِ الأمْرُ بِالمَعْروفِ والنَّهيُ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ وَ إقامَةُ الحُدُودِ
