Imam Ali (AS) said, The truthful friend is one who advises you of your faults, protects your dignity in your absence and gives you preference over himself.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلصَّديقُ الصَّدوُقُ مَنْ نَصَحَكَ في عَيبكَ وَ حَفِظَكَ في غَيبِكَ وَآثرَكَ على نَفْسِهِ
