Imam Ali (AS) said, One in whose eyes this world is grand and in whose heart its position is great, prefers it over Allah and devotes himself to it and becomes a slave to it.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَنْ عَظُمَتِ الدُّنيا في عَيْنِهِ وَ كَبُرَ مَوْقِعُها في قَلْبِهِ أثَرَها عَلَى اللّهِ وَ انْقَطَعَ إلَيْها وَ صارَ عبداً لَها
