5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from ibn ‘Uqbah from his father who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘It is of Sunnah to clip one’s fingernails.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مِنَ السُّنَّةِ تَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ .
