1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ayyub ibn Nuh who has said the following
“I once ate Harisah (mashed meat and grains) with al-Jawars with abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), and he (the Imam) said, ‘It is a kind of food which is not heavy or troublesome. I like it so I ordered to use it with my food, however, with milk it is more beneficial and soft on stomach.”’
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ نُوحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ أَكَلَ مَعَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلام ) هَرِيسَةً بِالْجَاوَرْسِ وَ قَالَ
أَمَا إِنَّهُ طَعَامٌ لَيْسَ فِيهِ ثِقَلٌ وَ لَا لَهُ غَائِلَةٌ وَ إِنَّهُ أَعْجَبَنِي فَأَمَرْتُ أَنْ يُتَّخَذَ لِي وَ هُوَ بِاللَّبَنِ أَنْفَعُ وَ أَلْيَنُ فِي الْمَعِدَةِ .
