3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about my decision to perform al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) and about what I should say. He (the Imam) said, ‘Say O Lord, I want to perform al- Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) according to Your book and the Sunnah of Your Holy prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause. If you like just keep in mind what you want to do.’”
