“I once asked one of the Imam, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about the case of the pregnant woman whose pregnancy has become apparent, but finds what a woman experiences because of Hayd (menses) of blood discharge. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is a spilling of blood; if the discharge is a great deal and of red color, she must not perform Salah (prayer). She then needs to take Wudu’ only if it is of a small amount and of yellow color.’”
