Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from `Ali b. al-Hakam from `Amer b. Mu`aqqal from Abi Hamza al-Thumali from Abi Ja`far (as). He said
He said to me: O Aba Hamza! Do not place `Ali lower than where Allah has placed him, and do not raise `Ali higher than where Allah has placed him. It is enough that `Ali fights the people of the globe and that he brings the people of Paradise together.
4 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن علي بن الحكم، عن عامر بن معقل، عن أبي حمزة الثمالي، عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلام)، قال
قال لي: يا أبا حمزة، لا تضعوا عليا دون ما وضعه الله، ولا ترفعوا عليا فوق ما رفعه الله، كفى بعلي أن يقاتل أهل الكرة، وأن يزوج أهل الجنة (4).
