Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Prudence is careful consideration of the consequences and consultation of people of reason.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : الحَزمُ النَّظَرُ في العَواقِبِ ، ومُشاوَرَةُ ذَوي العُقولِ.

Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘The essence of prudence is stopping in the face of the dubious.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أصْلُ الحَزمِ الوُقوفُ عِندَ الشُّبْهَةِ.

Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Feeling certainty and quietude before experience is against prudence.
