Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘The best jihad is combatting ones self against its desires, and weaning it from the pleasures of this world.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أفْضَلُ الجِهادِ جِهادُ النَّفْسِ عنِ الهَوى ، وفِطامُها عَن لَذّاتِ الدُّنيا.
