That Which Brings One Under Satan's Authority

The Prophet (SAWA) narrated, ‘Moses (AS) was once sitting down when Iblis [Satan] approached him … Moses asked him, 'So inform me about the sin which if the son of Adam were to commit would give you mastery over him. He replied, 'When he feels proud of himself [for a particular action], and continues to perform that action, deeming his sin insignificant.

Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Sitting in the company of people who are driven by their base desires is the key to obliviousness of one's faith and is the very seat of Satan's presence.

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'Satan's strongest forces are [mobilized through] women and anger.
