The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Keeping relationships with ones kin prolongs ones life and repels poverty.
رسولُ اللهِ (صَلَّيَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِهِ): صِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ تَزيدُ في العُمرِ، وتَنفي الفَقرَ.

Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Cure poverty with charity and giving generously.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): داوُوا الفَقرَ بالصَّدقَةِ والبَذلِ.

Imam al-Baqir (AS) said, ‘Righteousness and almsgiving in secret banishes poverty.
الإمامُ الباقرُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): البِرُّ وصَدقَةُ السِّرِّ يَنفِيانِ الفَقرَ.

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘I guarantee that those who economize will never fall poor.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): ضَمِنتُ لِمَنِ اقتَصَدَ أن لا يَفتَقِرَ .
