Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘The status of this world according to me is just as a dead body, where I will only eat from it if I am compelled to do so.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): ما منزلةُ الدنيا مِن نفسي إلّا بمنزلةِ الميتةِ، إذا اضطُرِرتُ إليها أكَلتُ مِنها.
