۞
A man went to see the Prophet (a.s) and said: “I like you for the sake of God.” The Prophet (a.s) said: “If you really like me get ready to become poor, since poverty will approach those who truly love me faster than a flood approaches its destination.”
وقيل: جاء رجل إلى النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله) فقال: إني لأحبك في الله، فقال النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله): إن كنت تحبني فأعد للفقر جلبابا، فإن الفقر أسرع إلى من يحبني من السيل إلى منتهاه.
