Imam Sadiq (a.s) narrated that his grandfather (a.s) quoted on the authority of God's Prophet (a.s)
“God will reward anyone He has promised to reward for doing some deed, but He is free to punish anyone He will for doing deeds for which He has promised to punish.”
عنه (عليه السلام) عن آبائه (عليهم السلام) قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من وعده الله على عمل ثوابا فهو منجز له، ومن أوعده على عمل عقابا فهو فيه بالخيار.
