hadith 2271
Imam Ali (AS) said, The beginning of wisdom is abandoning [worldly] pleasures and its end is loathing the transitory.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أوَّلُ الْحِكْمَةِ تَرْكُ اللَّذّاتِ وَ آخِرُها مَقْتُ الفانِياتِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The fruit of wisdom is disdain for the world and infatuation with the Eternal Paradise.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ثَمَرَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ التَّنَزُّهُ عَنِ الدُّنيا وَ الوَلَهُ بِجَنَّةِ المَأْوى

Imam Ali (AS) said, The boundary of wisdom is turning away from the perishing abode [of this world] and being infatuated with the Eternal Abode [of the Hereafter].
