Imam Ali (AS) said, While recalling the [rule of the] Umayyads (he said): It is the spittle from the deliciousness of [this temporary] life; they [shall] taste it for a short while and then spit it all out.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : في ذِكرِ بَني اُمَيَّةَ: هِيَ مُجاجَةٌ مِنْ لَذيدِ العَيْشِ يَتَطَعَّمُونَها بُرْهَةً وَيَلْفَظُونَها جُمْلَةً
