Imam Ali (AS) said, Sagacity is [in] fearing Allah, the Glorified, eschewing the forbidden and improving ones Hereafter [through good deeds].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلْكَيِّسُ تَقْوَى اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ وَ تَجَنُّبُ المَحارِمِ وَ إصْلاحُ المَعادِ
