Imam Ali (AS) said, Never hold on to one who turns back and do not separate from the one who moves forward.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لا تَتَمَسَّكَنَّ بِمُدْبِر وَ لا تُفارِقَنَّ مُقْبِلاً
hadith 3040
Imam Ali (AS) said, It may be that sometimes the one who turns back moves forward and the one who moves forward turns back.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لَرُبَّما أقْبَلَ المُدْبِرُ وَ أدْبَرَ المُقْبِلُ
