Imam Ali (AS) said, The equitable person has many friends and intimates.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلمُنْصِفُ كَثِيرُ الأوْلِياءِ وَ الأوِدّاءِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The most equitable of people is one who shows fairness himself, without being compelled to do so by any authority.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أنْصَفُ النّاسِ مَنْ أنْصَفَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حاكِم عَلَيْهِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Indeed it is from the merit of a man to be fair with others, and to do good to the one who does him evil.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ مِنْ فَضْلِ الرَّجُلِ أنْ يُنْصِفَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ وَ يُحْسِنَ إلى مَنْ أساءَ إلَيْهِ
