Imam Ali (AS) said, Beware of speech which is offensive, for indeed it confines you to [the company of] vile people and repels the honourable ones from you.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إيّاكَ وَ ما يُسْتَهْجَنُ مِنَ الكَلامِ فَإنَّهُ يَحْبِسُ (يَحيسُ) عَلَيْكَ اللِّئامَ وَ يُنَفِّرُ عَنْكَ الكِرامَ
