Imam Ali (AS) said, The sword rents asunder and the religion joins together; for religion commands good and the sword forbids evil. Allah, the Exalted, says: Indeed in retaliation there is life for you.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلسَيْفُ فاتِقٌ وَ الدّينُ راتِقٌ فَالدّينُ يَأمُرُ بِالمَعْرُوفِ وَ السَّيْفُ يَنْهى عَنِ المُنْكَرِ قالَ اللّهُ تَعالى: وَ لَكُمْ فِي القِصاصِ حَياةٌ (البقرة 179)
