Imam Ali (AS) said, Remorse is one of the two [forms of] repentance.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلنَّدَمُ أحَدُ التَوْبَتَيْنِ

الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اِنْدَمْ عَلى ما أسَأْتَ وَ لاتَنْدَمْ عَلى مَعْرُوف صَنَعْتَ
